What are micromets?

According to Neal, our friendly pathologist, micromets are "microscopic metastases". Basically--points where the cancer has implanted and taken hold, even though they're still microscopic in size. He said that because they're still microscopic you can't really take them out, and basically the only thing to do is more chemo.

It's not good news. We'd like all the cancer to just be going away peacefully, not popping up in new places.
